Shutter Studios is a multimedia company that I set up that focuses on photography, design and film. I set the company up at the end of 2019 after finishing my A-Levels. I didn't want to go to university, I wanted to set up my own business and follow a path of things I love.
Doing this has allowed me to continue my love for photography and to regain my passion for art and drawing which I lost when I was doing my GCSEs.
I have always had a passion for photography, this originally started from sunsets and sunrises because I thought they were just so incredible. I got my first DSLR camera in 2015 this was partly for youtube but also so that I could take photos with a proper camera. It wasn't until 2017 when I started A-Level Photography I started to learn even more ways to use the camera and edit. I found I picked these up so much quicker than other people, I'd be told it once and I'd be able to do it. I think this was due to the passion and the drive I had towards it.
Check out Shutter Studios to learn more about the journey.
These are just a couple of the photos I took on the first day of having my first DSLR, most of the photos were of my family opening presents and things but I also had several other photos, as you can see I got the camera for Christmas. I like looking back at earlier photos as you can see how you've changed and the progression you've done.
